Photo Tips for AI Meme Videos
One clear photo of one consenting adult.
Use one real photo with one adult (18+), a clear face, even light and no sunglasses or mask. Front or slight angle up to 60°. No children, celebrities, revealing clothes, screenshots or watermarks. For Duo upload two separate photos and obtain both adults’ consent.
A few things you might be wondering
Can I use a child photo?
No. We only make videos of adults (18+). Any photo that may contain a minor is rejected.
Can I use a celebrity photo?
No. We can't use photos of celebrities or public figures.
Do you use my photos to train AI?
We never use your photos to train AI models, and the AI services that process them state that they do not train on customer data. Photos are processed only to create your video and may be kept briefly by our processing partners for safety and abuse prevention.
Can I upload a group photo?
No. Please use a photo with one person only. Duo templates take two separate photos.
How long do you keep photos?
Uploaded photos and previews are kept for 7 days. Videos are kept for 30 days. Download files you want to retain.
Which photos work best?
Use a sharp real JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB with one consenting adult, visible face and even light. No revealing clothing.
Are photos containing swimwear allowed?
No. This photo doesn't meet our content rules. Runway also requires modest, fully clothed inputs and outputs.
